I will be working to revise my work by using the critiques given to me by my peers during exercises such as peer edits and reviews on my work. Continuing to revise my work will give me the ability to see where I am able to improve. Given that I am able to see where I have made my mistakes, the better I will become in the revision process of others. If I am able to point out my strengths as well as my weaknesses, it will give me a better idea as to how I can use these weaknesses in the future. Knowing what I need to work on will give me the ability to know how to critique myself and others when it comes to editing my papers. Some changes that I have used to change my paper are integrating my ideas at the correct times and staying on topic in my supporting paragraphs. Habits that I have changed over time mostly through high school when my teacher would press on us his ideas of what a great paper could be. Because he wrote the way that he wanted all of us to write, I essentially have picked up on the ways of his techniques. My teacher’s techniques gave me a better way of understanding how to professionally write.  I will continue to work on the revision process by approaching my writing content with and better understanding of how to professionally organize papers.
