At the beginning of the school year, I was moderately good at annotating papers and articles. I have always believed that writing full sentences and using a highlighter cane a useful tool to have. When we first began annotating I could take hours to go over a full article with articulated points and little notes I made to myself. I believe that I am still going to work on this tool because there can never be enough annotating and highlighting important information. When it comes to writing a paper and needing to reference back to an article for support, the better the annotated article is the most convenient way to find good quotes. I don’t feel as if this is an area for me to improve on because it’s an activity that I take my time with an make sure that I am getting the most out of it. If anything, I would want to spend more time on annotating and asking questions about the articles that I read.
